Clovis Judo Club Inducted into the Clovis Citizen's Hall of Fame On May 19, 2006, the Clovis Judo Club, as an organization, was inducted into the Clovis Citizen's Hall of Fame. This was in recognition of the club's 50 years of teaching the Valley youth the value of showing good conduct, spirit, self control and sportsmanship. Along with the plaque pictured below, the club was presented with numerous certificates from various state and local government officials, including Governor Schwarzenegger. Approximately 25 to 30 of the club's senseis, former senseis, parents and students attended the dinner. Current Head Sensei, Ron Goode, accepted the awards on behalf of the club.
